My garage is currently unfinished. You can see the beams still on the ceiling, and the walls are a mixture of particle board and dry wall in the garage. The builders left us some pieces of our carpeting from upstairs so that we can piece it around our cars and walk around.
We put my husband’s old desk in the garage for his tools. We also used old plastic tiered storage shelves that my mom had used in her classroom to organize our cleaning supplies. I used two of the tiered organizers to get our outside shoes in order (outside shoes=rain boots, snow boots, old sneakers, flip flops that you use to take out the garbage in). I used a small tiered organizer to keep all of my work out and yoga stuff in order.
Our garbage cans sit in the middle of the garage by the doors so they can easily be taken out. Last, but not least, we have our brooms and mops hanging beside the garage door so I can just grab it and clean inside. My husband installed it quickly and easily.
